Colorado State Regent Margaret "Peggy" Norton

Welcome to the website for Colorado State Society Daughters of the American Colonists (DAC) where the State Officers 2018-2021 elevate the objectives of the National Society, just as our high Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Patriotic, Education and Historical are the objectives of this friendly society, with the motto of Past, Present, Future.
DAC members are descendants of a man or woman who rendered patriotic or civil service to the American Colonies prior to 4 July 1776. We are a friendly lineage society with members working to preserve our heritage and record our history for future generations while serving our communities through Patriotic Education, Scholarships for American Indian students, marking historical sites, serving veterans and more.
Daughters of the American Colonist in Colorado was founded on 22 April 1922, by Mrs. Freeman C. Rogers. Captain Peregrine White Chapter was also organized on that date by Mrs. Freeman C. Rogers in Pueblo, Colorado. Robert Coe Chapter was organized on 18 November 1954 by Mrs. Charles Hoffman in Denver, Colorado
.
Colorado women who wish to receive more information about becoming a member of one of the local chapters may write to State Registrar, Noreen Riffe at .DAC.Colorado.State @gmail.com.
