The beauty of Colorado with the waterfalls, lovely, fragrant flora, and mountains are background settings for the members of COLORADO DAC CHAPTERS.The Columbine was designated the official state flower of Colorado in 1899 and was discovered on Pikes Peak.
Meetings and activities are set with programs enticing to all those who present special programs, and women who have attained the age of 18 are invited to become members of one of the chapters, who can prove lineal descent from an ancestor of the 1700-1776 period of American history. Admission to membership in the National Society is by invitation after an affirmative vote by the chapter or state society. Applicants shall be of good moral character, have attained their eighteenth year, and have the endorsement of two members in good standing to whom the applicant is personally known.
New members become part of a chapter, a state Society, and the National Society, which is one of the largest of the nation’s hereditary organizations. Every member’s interest and participation is vital to aid the Society in continuing to move ahead and to grow in strength and achievement, in love of country, in historic preservation of a cherished heritage, and in education of all citizens in what the real America is, and what America stands for.

COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS "hARD wORK u"
DAC contributes funding for college students at College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout near Branson, Missouri, where students work on campus in many areas to cover their tuition. The mission of College of the Ozarks is to provide the advantages of a Christian education for youth of both sexes, especially those found worthy, but who are without sufficient means to procure such training.
The vision of College of the Ozarks is to develop citizens of Christ-like character who are well-educated, hard-working, and patriotic.
To achieve this vision, the College has Academic,Vocational, Christian, Patriotic and Cultural goals. Even as College of the Ozarks has evolved through secondary and junior college stages to the present four-year liberal arts institution, the fundamental goals have remained the same.
COLORADO DAC MEMBERS AT STATE ASSEMBLY
State Assembly is held annually for the purpose of conducting business, meeting new friends in the organization, enjoying the friendship of other Daughters, and hearing reports from officers, chairmen and chapter regents.
With the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic, our Colorado Daughters did not have a State Assembly in August, 2020. At this time, we are preparing and making arrangements to have our Colorado State Assembly for 2021 will be held on August 19, 2021, at the Den Restaurant, Morrison, Colorado.
